About the Society
The Yellowknife Seniors' Society is a non-profit organization
established in 1992. We manage the Baker Community Centre on
Franklin Avenue (50th Street) in Yellowknife. Membership is $10
per year.
The Society offers social, recreational and educational programs
for Seniors six days a week, at the Baker Centre and at other
locations in Yellowknife. We also provide up to date information
on health and benefit issues of interest to Seniors (55+) and
their families.
Volunteers are always welcome. Volunteer for the Board of Directors,
or give some time to the Baker Centre - it's sure to be appreciated,
and you’ll enjoy it too!
